I’m going to by new waders.  It will most likely be zippered waders.

Any “cons”(pros-cons)  for not buying zip up ones?

Who has what make and brand, AND do you like them?

Cost and the Zipper. Meaning the zipper could add $100 to the cost of the waders over the non-zipper ones. Plus, the “quality” of the zipper is important. The better the “quality” of the zipper the better it will hold water from leaking in. I am an “untrusting” guy so I personally do not buy zippered waders. Most guys that do buy the zippered waders buy them because it is easier to take a “pee”. Is that worth the extra $100??

I tend to get locked in when I fish and “hold it” as long as I can.  A couple of times I’ve almost had a problem.

For me the extra money would seem to be well worth it.

      Zippered Changed My Life

Zippered waders changed my life (OK, I don’t have much of a life).  I ruputured a disc some time ago and bending over is painful.  It has gotten to the point where I treaded lacing up my wading boots.

A friend suggested getting zippered waders.  Now he’s a dear friend.  Sitting on a low camp stool and the wader unzipped all the way, I can easily reach the boot laces with minimal bendind down.  Makes a big difference.  As Kelly G would say, “hope it helps”.
