I’m thinking about ditching the vest and getting a hip or chest pack. I’m looking for feedback from anyone who has used a Hip Pack. It seems the biggest negative would be wading above waist level. With my vest, I occasionally get the bottom pockets wet, but not often. I’m also thinking about a chest pack, but would like to eliminate anything in front while fishing. Ken, I purchased the Fishpond Switchback Pro Wading System back in December 2025 from Avidmax. I have used it 8-10 times and have decided I don’t care for it.
