This past weekend (Feb 22-23) top fly tier and guide, Blaine Chocklett, was in town for a fly tying class and seminar at Feathercraft fly shop. Blaine is a guide in Virginia and fishes all of the waters in that region. Kenny Klimes and Ron “the Berwyn Bear” Fiala signed up for Blaine’s fly tying class – a class of 12 only – to learn to tie Blaine’s famous Game Changer fly.  These flies are great for big browns, smallmouth and musky!!  A unique fly that Blaine has worked on for several years until he got it exactly the way he wanted. This fly looks so life-like in the water it’s scary.  The class was awesome as Kenny and Ron spent four hours learning the Game Changer fly.

The next morning Blaine gave a seminar at Feathercraft fly shop and many FATC guys showed up. They learned alot about fishing these big flies.  It was nice to see many FATC guys sharing stories and buying fly fishing ‘stuff’.  Check out the pictures to see a few of the guys that made the seminar.
