Bill Byington made a solo trip to Baptist Camp and Tan Vat on May 1st and here’s his report:
I made a trip to the Current on the first. The water has cleared and dropped considerably since our last trip.I managed only five trout in the net while losing a couple trickier ones. All the fish were caught before 11:00. After that Fishing died. The two other fisherman I spoke to on the water had not caught any fish. The best one had done was a couple of lookers but no takers. I moved to Tan Vat after that and fished down to the bend but without a bite. The fliesĀ in the morning that caught fish were the Frenchy, Cerise worm and the black Son of San Juan.
