Our second beginner’s fly tying class of 2018 took place this past Saturday (2/24) at Terry Seaton’s house.  Terry, our FATC fly tying instructor, had three new guys this time around.  Rick McMichael, Tim Klotz ans Don Varner joined Terry on this morning to learn the basics of tying flies.  The three learned everything from the tools needed to the materials used and why.  Three flies were tied this morning; the woolybugger, the P&P midge and the crackleback.  Each fly teaches a different aspect of fly tying.  Now Mike, Tim and Don are ready to get into the world of fly tying – at least that is our goal.
