I am always amazed at the number of FATC guys that volunteer and give up their day to serve others. About 13 FATC men decided to help the Christian Fellowship Baptist Church in University City clean out their garage so they can put on a new roof. This project was one we started many years ago but after one of the guys almost fell through the roof, we called an audible and decided to redo the inside of their church. Painting, flooring, kitchen cabinets, and more, it was a big project that our guys gladly gave up their time and energy to complete.

This time the members of the church decided to call us again to see if we had the ability to help them clean out their garage so they can contract someone to rebuild their roof. So of course, we said yes! Some thirteen guys showed up to help. The church rented a U-Haul truck and the loading began. Unfortunately for us the “junk yard” closed on Saturday at 11am and we finished loading the truck at 10:50am. Ain’t gonna make it. So again, we called an audible and decided to keep the truck until Monday and those that are able meet up at the “junk yard” on Monday, April 13^th. We will let you all know how it went!
