My Mrs and I are heading west soon and I’m going to have the opportunity to fish some of those great western rivers in and around the Yellowstone area. I’m going cheap, and probably not hiring a guide, but I’ve been reading books, websites and staring at maps for almost a year to prepare. This is something I’ve dreamed of since I was a kid. Learning to fly fish so I could some day fish those rivers was one of the reasons I joined FATC. Time to knock this off the bucket list and make it a regular thing.
I’ll have some time to go off by myself and fish, but the Mrs. is also looking forward to sitting in a chair with her binos while I hit a stream or two. We’ll be splitting our time around Cody and Island Park, so if anyone has suggestions on places where that’s easy to do, or even a place that should be on my “must fish” list, I’m open to hearing them!

We’ve had a lot of trips to Yellowstone National Park over the past years so I’m sure a lot of guys have their ideas and favorite rivers. Unfortunately I’ve been busy and gone a lot lately but I’d love to give you some ideas sooooo give me a call and we can talk. It’s easier than typing six paragraphs. ?
I’m sure you have my number ?

Hi Kenny, I am copying off of Dave Rodecap and planning a trip to Yellowstone in September. Fortunately my wife will be joining me so it’s not just a fishing trip. If you have time for a phone call or better yet I could buy you a cup a coffee and pick your brain about our trip plans.
Thanks Bakes
