Forum Home › Gear and Misc. Equipment › Leaky rain gear,
After a recent outing that included a lot of rain gear that no longer seamed waterproof, I thought a tip may help. Revivex makes several products that will revive the waterproofing of your rain gear and waders. I have used the Revivex spray on my waders. Wash the waders as the manufacturer directs. After it drys lay the waders out and spray generously and use a hairdryer to set the Revivex. I used the wash-in waterproofing Revivex on my wading jacket but having tested it yet. That required washing and then soaking the jacket wringing out the water and then running the jacket through a warm dryer cycle. It was fairly simple so I will try it out during the next rain to see how it turns out.

New rain gear. I just purchased a Patagonia Salt River Jacket at an over $200 dollar saving on a 2XL. It is in the closeout section. You may have to hunt a little they still list the jacket in the regular site as well.
