Gary Elliott and Jim Franke came to visit me, Dave Beerbower, for some relaxation in the Blue Ridge Mountains of NC. Of course that included some fishing while the ladies went shopping. We decided to hit Wilson Creek Wilderness Area. This is one of the prettiest rivers in the east. The weather cooperated with a beautiful day, but the fishing started out tough. Finally, with some local information, Dave got on a bridge over the river and spotted fish for Jim and Gary. The catching was on. Though the numbers were not great, we all caught fish and between the three of us, we managed a trifecta. The natural beauty of this place is incredible. Enjoy the pictures.
