Tim Klotz and I fished the little piney for the first time on July 12 and we got many trout and smallies to the net!  We are not giving details on where and what we fished because we want to keep this “gem” to ourselves for a while and we are afraid that many of you better anglers might then go and ruin our fun! (But we can be bribed!) No “keepers” (over 18 inches) were caught, but it did not distract or take away our fun!  I probably will now not be going all of the way to Montauk as often as I do now that I like fishing the piney so if anybody wants to take over my “mayor of Montauk” position but I am considering running for prince of piney” so if anybody wants my old position it is yours!
