Four of us went to Montauk on Wednesday, April 19 because one of the wives wanted one of us out of the house?!!! So, Bob Hassett, Steve Baker, Don Varner, and Harold Bates (a late add at 5:01 am Wednesday!) met at the Varner Garage Commuter Lot at 6:10 am.
The park had people there, but not overly crowded. Conditions were good with clear water. The weather was great! However, there was a bit of wind.
The fishing, on the other hand left something to be desired. Amongst the four of us, we caught a total of 17 fish. Bummer! Things that worked were cerise worm, red midge, house of payne, and egg patterns.
Nevertheless, we enjoyed the day and the fellowship dinner was at American Taco.
