Trips: Old Friends Fish

Tim Graham, who moved from St Louis to Colorado, seems to be fishing a lot more lately.  And why not, he lives in fly fishing heaven.  He had the chance to fish with some old friends and sends us this report from the (frozen) Eagle river in Colorado.

“Kenny – I fished with my long term friend Tony Mughal, his son Ryan and his roommate Ryan Conway yesterday.  We were on the Eagle River near the Town of Gypsum.  We all caught fish and had a great time.  Size 20-22 midges, produced well.   The midges were frozen in the top layer of the ice so it was obvious what fish would be feeding on with no hatch this time of year on the Eagle.”
