Here is a quick report on Montauk from FATC member Larry Farrar:

Larry, Steve and John ventures to Montauk Monday and Tuesday (April 18-19). The water was high and moving fast. The weather was fabulous and the fisherman count was low. The fishing was on fire. John is new to fly fishing but picked up casting, mending and landing fish quickly. Fish were caught on streamers and chartreuse eggs. The group has a great time and enjoyed a pheasant dinner cooked at the cabin.
