My son-in-law Luke Birchenough and I decided to get in some blue line fishing (fishing small streams) for some wild trout this past Sunday. We went to the Middle Fork of the New river since we only had a few hours to fish. The water conditions were good and the colors of the leaves were beautiful. We managed to bring three beauties to hand and their colors were brighter than the photos show. I was using the hair of the dog nymph (my dog Elsie is giving me plenty to work with) and Luke was successful with a Klinkhammer. A great morning to be in God’s creation.  by Dave Beerbower
