Four FATC members (Kenny Klimes, Dave Beerbower, Mike Bisaga, and Dave Komor) traveled to fish with our Virginia fellowship and Project Healing Waters (PHW). Our donations from our 2017 annual charity dinner covered the cost of the weekend event for all participants.  We had the pleasure of meeting our Virginia fellowship and five PHW veterans. It was an awesome event of fishing the streams of Virginia, demonstrating fly tying, food, music and most importantly, listening to the stories of the veterans. The hospitality of our Virginia fellowship was superb- kudos to Jonathan Pierce and his family. Kenny accepted an award of appreciation to the FATC from the Virginia PHW organization.  As you can see from the pictures everyone had an unbelievable time.  Big thanks to Woolybugger Fly Co for donating items for the veterans and to the Beerbower’s for putting the FATC guys up in their summer home during this event. We are going back!!! This was truly a rewarding experience.
