Once again a group of FATC Volunteers converged on the St. Louis Park Ave Ronald McDonald House to prepare a meal for the residents who typically have critically ill children admitted long-term to one of the area Childrens Hospitals. Those in attendance were Al Blair, Miles Meyer, Bill Byington, Mike Oldani and Matt McClure. We all participated in cooking a scrumptious meal for the Residents consisting of Spaghetti w/Meat Sauce, Tossed Salad, Garlic Bread & Cookies. RMH counts on volunteers & organizations to prepare a breakfast or dinner each day of the week in order to help eliminate some of the stress and cost associated with being away from home while their child is hospitalized.
FATC has committed to preparing a meal quarterly. There will be one more opportunity to serve in 2018. Look forward to seeing an email through FATC in the near future for the opportunity to sign – up. Thanks again to all who volunteered.
