Monday night, September 29, 2025, Feather Craft hosted their first fly tying night at Peacemaker Lobster / Four Hands Brewing in Kirkwood.  This is something new they are starting, it will be held the last Monday of every month.  Jim and Evan from the shop led the event. Alex Wein notified me about going, and he, Bill Keenum and myself, Alan Hautly represented FATC, and we were joined by a handful of other gents for an enjoyable evening of fly tying, adult beverages, appetizers and conversation.

We brought our own equipment, and tied what we wanted. Mark your calendars if you would like to join the next event, Monday October 27 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.  Jim said Trout Unlimited is hosting a kids fishing day in November, and we will be tying fly’s for that event.  Feather Craft will be supplying all the materials, hooks, etc. You will need to bring your own equipment.

You don’t have to be a fly tyer to join, come hang out and enjoy a brew, and talk fly fishing.  Hope to see you there.
