Our Mentors
The FATC Mentor program provides instruction for FATC fly fishers who need help with a specific fly fishing technique. Our mentors (pictured below) are experienced FATC fly fishers that will take the time to help other fly fishers with fly fishing techniques that they are having problems with on the water.
Fly fishers requesting a mentor must:
1. Have completed the FATC fly fishing class
2. Contact the mentor prior to the trip (or morning of the trip) and have a “specific” technique that he wants to practice or improve.
3. Have the proper equipment to accomplish the “specific” technique.
4. Be willing to accept the directions and instruction of the mentor and try the techniques that are being taught.
5. Understand the mentor instructional period is only to be for one hour (not all day instruction).
