I agree it uses less tippet and for me it’s been very strong as long as the tag end points 90 degrees from the rest of the line. I just timed myself tying the knot after the tippet is already through the eye. Looks like I can tie it in 8 seconds. It’s become my favorite knot. Midcurrent.com has a good demonstration.
