I’m going to take my reels and line over to Kenny so he can clean and buff them!  Thanks for your generous offer.

Tim Thanks for the tip.  I’m going to give the hose a try.  I have some line that could use some work.

Bill,  Thanks for tying and fishing Matt’s Midge.  What a beautiful, extremely effective fly.

Timely that you posted this.  Although I dread doing it I just tied some size 24 midges with tiny bead head yesterday.  Worst part is putting on the bead.  Why did I tie these?  I’m leaving for trip out west and most common flies this time of year where I’m going are midge larvae, midge emergers and a few adult midge in the 18-24 size.  The last couple years I did best in the 22-24 size.  Today I’m going to be tying up some 22 mercuries, juju’s Baetis, red rojo’s, black beauties.  Probably wouldn’t be a bad idea to have some for MO streams.  Best check would be to pump a stomach.  Then you know what size and color.

Thanks Kenny for making sure I had some good materials to tie with.  Whoops, I’m sorry, I wasn’t supposed to say anything.

If I’m not mistaken today is the Sensei’s Birthday.   I want to learn what it takes to grow old like the Sensei and still be able to fish without sitting in a wheelchair.

I’ll let Bill and Kenny be the honorary Montauk Gucci vest fashion statements.  Besides if it’s not available on Sierra Trading Post then I’m not buying.  ?.

-Fine tuning my presentation especially when fishing with an indicator.  Concentrating on making every drift a good drift with proper mends, rod tracking, weight etc.

-Just started euro-nymphing.  Learning tight-line nymphing.

Very good.  I also purchased digital copy of “Modern Nymphing” Euro Techniques by Lance and Devon and it’s very good and worth the $$.
