John,  what you and I covered, in Operation Timothy, Is there anything you own, you correctly answered, “I own my choices”.

That’s really it in a nutshell, CHOOSE, it’s all you own.

John,  teaching hard things.  One hard thing comes to mind because Paul Tripp’s New Morning Mercies has been talking about relationships the last few days. This may be the hardest to teach anybody, IMO.

But like Tripp does so often he boils it down to the relationship with our Heavenly Father and how we follow the example of Jesus.  For me it comes down to loving your neighbor and and being a ambassadors Christ letting others see how you live.  Both are hard things but doable.

Thank you, John, for always making us think.

John, just read you last two forum topics.  I can’t help but think they are related, connected.  Sorrow and  suffering strengthen us in our life long process to become more Christ like.  The success of live through this process is reached when we know where we will be going when we leave this world.  We will all see Terry and Bruce when we all reach the Kingdom that is prepared for us. Sorrow for those we love and lose is hard, but the joy knowing heaven awaits because the way we are trying to live our lives is the success we strive for.  I am sorry for you losing your friends, but I know you will become stronger and be more successful.  Someday all of us will join Terry, telling fishing stories and jokes again.

Legacy, never thought much about this until Half Time book study.  Since then my vision has been focused on what Jesus said, go and make disciples.  Bible studies, going through Operation Timothy, daily devotion and time with God has given me that desire to make disciples of others. So many opportunities staring me in the face.  So when I get to heaven and answer God about what I FINALLY DID, I hope he says the same to me as what Kenny wants.

We have an AWESOME GOD to serve.

I pictured this in my mind so easily.

End of day is when I need to be rescued. Mornings start out with quite time with my Lord and I feel blessed to have read timely words, comforted from what I read and then comes the day.  Rushing around, especially during this time of year, going 90mph all day then, you sit down, watch TV shows that are mind numbing, have a drink, wander to bed with the day in your head and I forget about God. This is the time I need to be rescued.

Thanks John for helping me get my mind around what God wants for us. He wants all of us. He can rescue.

John, what a timely piece for the forum. I was at Montauk today (Tuesday) with FatC brothers when my wife texted me with the news her uncle had just passed.  This man was larger than life to me and also to everyone else he came in contact with. The quotes you shared are going to Kansas with me and Debby and I will be sharing your piece and quotes to the family grieving for Ed, I know they will think the same as I do that the article and quotes are perfect timing for each of us.Thanks for sharing.

    Hi Dan,

You Tube has several different ways, some complicated, an easy one was hitting your tool with a Sledge Hammer?????  Hope you don’t go there.

The best one I saw was a De-magnitizer about $50.

Yep, kicking me in the butt again Semi-Pro. The score is now 2 -zip. I can hold my hand up on 3 or 4 of the excuses listed. So now you have kicked me into being a game player.

Another point to add is Matthew 10: 32, I will paraphase, “Share Jesus as your Lord to others (in public) and declare your allegiance to Him, recognize Him and bring others into His camp and Jesus will introduce you to the BIG GUY.

    If you don’t, big mistake.
    <p style=”text-align: right;”>Thanks again for the kick</p>
