Ever wonder why a trout would take a tan or light brown streamer ?
There is a small catfish like guy called a “madtom “ that inhabits many of the Missouri Ozark streams we fish.

This secretive little guy is tan or mottled tan/brown and is found at the tail of cobblestone pools. They are usually 2-3 inches long; a perfect size for a trout or smallmouth to gobble up
