Just picked this up, cause why not. Talked to Sage/Redington and they highly recommended the set as a try out. Always wanted to Spey. The set originally was $549. Amazon currently has it for $143. Sage said they are closing them out. The line and MOW tip are $130 alone. The reel, Run 7/8 is still for sale solo at $129. Not sure what the rod cost individually. The package got great reviews from Trident and said it was a great value (reviewed when it was $549 btw)
For $143 just wanted to pass along in case anyone wants to try Spey. I am going to use up at lake 7 in bush to get to those damn risers 70 feet out in the middle of the lake 🙂
