I’m needing recommendation on what polarize sunglasses lenses tint color are best for all types of conditions (sunny, overcast, etc..)?
Thank you!

I’ve had the dark blue, and the brown. The dark blue are great in bright sunlight. But, I find the brown to be much better over all for bright days, and the dim lighting of early morning, overcast, and evening fishing. The dark blue are just too dark for those low-light conditions. I know guys like amber too, but I don’t have any experience with them.

Best all around, I’d pick Amber. Gray lenses for sunny days. Yellow lenses in low light.

I have the amber/bronze. They are best on sunny days and can get a bit dark early or late in the day.
My suggestion would be for glass lenses as they are a clearer lens and less prone to scratching.

Guys, I appreciate the recommendations! Extremely helpful with my decision to upgrade to a pair of prescription polarized sunglasses!
Thank you!

MO,
This is a great thread. I’ve always struggled with my sunglasses and reading glasses (to tie on a new fly). While I don’t need prescription sunglasses I do need readers. Your thread made me think and I did a bit of research.
I ordered a pair from Amazon that are polarized with 3x readers built in. I’ve actually used them around the house and they seem to work great, I can’t wait to try them on a stream.

No more sunglasses / reading glasses juggle. I’ve dropped my sunglasses several times doing this.
Thanks
