Hello everyone! Is anyone else here from Northeast Ar or Southeast Mo? I’m about 4 hours south of St Louis in Lake City. My home waters are the beautiful Spring River in the Ozarks. I’ve fly fished there with my dad since I was a young boy. I pretty much abandoned it after I got married and had kids. However, a couple of years ago when the boys expressed a desire to learn, I broke out the old fly rod and rediscovered the magic as I shared it with them. Dad and I are fishing the same waters again that I loved as a kid but now it’s a party of four!
Anyway, I’m far from a pro, but I’m having a blast and looking forward to learning from all of you.
I’m also a bi-vocational pastor. I serve the Pentecostals of Lake City, work as a Marketing Manager for a John Deere engine distributor, teach part time for Urshan College in StL and am about to complete my second masters degree. I fish in my spare time. 😉
Oh, and best of all, I’m a customer of Woolly Bugger Fly Co!

Hi, Tony,
You sound like you would fit right in with this group. Have you ever fished the Eleven Point Or the North Fork of the White? I am sure some of the members have or been planning too.

I see you found the Flyfishers at the Crossing (FATC). Please send us an email at OurFATC@gmail.com and we will send you information on how to become a member in our fellowship. Also, check out all on our website – we do fish a lot but also do community service, charity work and of course, we stress brotherhood. We would love to have you join us in our adventures.
