New Fly: Mercer's Missing Link

A new fly has been added to our Education section – Fly Tying page called the “Mercer’s Missing Link”. It’s getting a lot of press lately and has just appeared in one of the major fly fishing magazines. This fly is in our dry fly caddis section but can also imitate a dry mayfly pattern as well. It is not difficult to tie and several major fly fishing gurus are saying it’s now the only dry fly they fish with or at least their go to dry fly. The trick is how it looks under water to the trout. If you tie then get tying a few of these and try them out since it is that time for dry fly fishing.
