I’ve recently started tying some flies with CDC Collars and seems that there are a few different methods for doing this. 1) Tie in the tip end of CDC and wrap the collar. 2) Use a dubbing loop to spin the CDC & wrap. 3) Split thread method. Interested in hearing pros & cons of each and maybe your preferred method. If split thread method what size thread would you recommend. Thanks !!
