Earlier this year I purchased a small book from the Montauk Lodge titled, THE ESSENTIAL GUIDE TO A PRECIOUS RESOURCE. The author is a long time Montauk resident and guide by the name of Frank Hume. I highly recommend this book to everyone who fishes at Montauk and on the Current River. I’ve only been fly fishing for a few years but I feel I have learned decades of knowledge from this experienced angler. I’m looking to up my game considerably.
