Here’s a link to info about the Sowbug Roundup, 3/28,29,30/19.
We’ve been having high flows for the what seems like months now. Very limited fishing whithout a boat. The Bull Shoals lake level has dropped nearly 20′ during that time and is now about 6′ above top of power pool and will get to that level in about 2 wks at the current rate. At that point we are hopeful for wadable flows. The hopper bite is still decent but slowing. Looking forward to some beatis activity about the time we hope to get wadable water – small stuff (BWO flies, parachute Adams, etc.).
Don’t forget the Pat Dorsey presentation the first weekend of Nov. It’s a the Bull Shoals Dam visitor center, free, public welcome.
I’d love to give you more info about the area if you would like. Send me your contact info at engermike@hotmail.com.

Mike,
Unfortunately, I will be fishing in Colorado with Landon Mayer at this time but I am pretty sure that several of our fly fishers will be going. Your home still a resting place for the FATC? As we get closer I’ll let you know who in our fellowship will be going to the Sow Bug. Thanks for keeping us informed – maybe a visit earlier than March. You be home?
