Knot but here is a tip on tying on flies during cold weather: feed tippet thru the hook eye and pull 3 to 4 inches thru. Hold tag end and running between thumb and forefinger. Take fly and twist 360 four times. Insert hemostat in loop in front of hook eye. Grab tag end of tippet and pull back thru loop. Spit on the knot and tighten.
