If there’s one place you want to be sure to check (and understand) the water levels, it’s the Meramac.
A few days before Kenny, Jim and Charlie Trenkler’s trip, AL Harper and I floated the Meramac.
While the fishing was great, I couldn’t help noticing debris from the high water AT LEAST 15 FEET , above the level we were fishing.
For one’s safety and enjoyment (and avoiding a failed trip) check the Meramec flow level any time rain has been anywhere in the vicinity of the Meramac.
